Announcing a New Program that is being launched. The Difficult to Adopt Program ,'DAP' A person, couple or family applies and if approved becomes what we refer to as a 'Sanctuary'. As a 'sanctuary individual, couple or family', the animal becomes a member of your life without you worrying about the medical expenses. 'Sanctuary Individuals, Couples or Families' do not legally adopt the animal. They are however, since vested in the welfare of the animal, included by PGE&AAS in all decisions pertaining to treating medical conditions and the expenses connected with it. If the individual, couple or family has the financial resources and is willing to provide needed medical services for the animal, we welcome their donations. The 'Sanctuary Individual, Couple or Family Program' shall allow for animals that would normally be put down due to their medical condition, and people who may not be able to afford taking an animal with medical challenges, to experience 'life' with each other. It is a win-win situation for the animal and Sanctuary individuals, couples or families involved. This innovative program has been created, to save the lives of animals that otherwise would be killed due to medical conditions and to enhance the life of individuals and families by providing them with the experience of having an animal to love and care about.
